Procedure known as taping (the process of installing the paper tape or fiberglass mesh on the joints) and mudding (the process of applying the drywall compound in order to cover the tape), joint finishing, finishing drywall boards (dry wall panels, sheetrock, gypsum board, drywall gypsum) or just joints.
Finishing the drywall using the appropriate methodology by taping and mudding seams between adjacent sheets with joint compound reduce the amount of sanding needed for a smooth finished wall. It is an important step for a well-prepared surface.
The eventual imperfection in this step will be visible only after the surface is primed (the first coat of paint is applied), unfortunately, it will be too late.
We, at Danro, offer you the warranty of a job done right, using the right methodology and recommended materials, also including the coat of primer on the new plastered surfaces free of charge (not offered for the plaster repairs).
