Pricing
Pricing
The cost of a job is important for everybody (client / contractor) in equal measure. What every homeowner should consider when hiring a tradesman is that the cost of a service is directly proportional with the quality of the service. In the residential sector (where we offer our services), not every tradesman is licenced and insured and that is the reason for which the prices vary “inexplicably” for the majority of homeowners who require our services.
When you think of prices, the contractors should differentiate themselves only by the percentage of profit added to the price (no more then 15%), the basic hourly rate should be the same for everybody (who is licensed to do the work). Before judging the pricing just consider all the factors involved in calculating the final price.
Every company who has employees and is licensed and insured cannot even be placed in the same category with the self-employed guys on the last page of the local paper.
To reduce costs, many homeowners start the work themselves only to find out that they are not capable to finish the work or the quality is questionable. Our advice is to leave the work for the professionals, only because at the end it will cost you more – you will have to hire a professional, not only to redo but to take time to undo what was done wrong!
No two jobs are the same so the prices vary. That is why we will meet you on site for a consultation and within 24h you will receive, by email, a written quote (file PDF format) with a fix price (will not change at the end if it will take us longer to finish the job) containing all the necessary information (cost, materials, methodology, delivery time) for you to take an informed decision.
We are here to work with and for you!
